We're trying to put together a Cafe Wha? reunion of the regulars from 1967-70 ish.
Tentatively set for mid Aug. 2009 at the Wha? Interested? Have old photos? Please post.

ReplyDeleteDear sweet Kathy Tate, this is your old (OLD) boyfriend from Taft High School. I miss you! I played at the Cafe Wha 1966 and onward because you were so supportive of me and my bands Kaleidoscope, The Rayne, and The Watertower West.
ReplyDeleteCarl our drummer died a few years ago. Jerry/Jake married Lorna Luft, divorced. Our guitarist Jimmy Reilly died at 16, shortly after joining Tony and The Tigers. James "Bucky" Hall is still playing in a cover bands (in Maine I think).
I've done a few albums since I last saw you. Ha!

Hi My Name is Augie, I was guitar for the Raves 64/67.. was afternoon band and sometimes open act for evening show.. any one rember Martin St James.. *smiles*
ReplyDeleteI was Risa Rosenthal - I was there too. All the time!! I knew Kathy Tate and her brother Danny. I live in England now. I used to go with my friend Debbie Johnson. I remember the Raves, Things, Collectors and hung out with Chris from the Collectors. I also knew the People and Cherry People. Did this reunion thing ever happen? I would love to go
